## What Ask does

- **Security & vendor questionnaires** — SIG, CAIQ, custom DDQs answered from
  your SOC 2, ISO docs and policies. The flagship use case. ~3 weeks → ~2 days.
- **RFP & tender responses (appels d'offres)** — paste the question column in
  Excel; Ask fills answer, confidence and source columns from your past wins.
- **Compliance audit against rules** — point it at a rulebook (ISO 13485, GDPR,
  internal SOP); findings drop into Word as comments anchored to paragraphs.
- **Audit evidence mapping** — map an auditor's control list to your existing
  evidence, document names and page numbers; gaps flagged.
- **Contract clause review** — deviation-from-playbook, severity, recommended
  response, per clause — staying inside your playbook.
- **Proposal drafting** — fill an empty Word template section by section from
  your capability statements and project docs.
- **Internal Q&A** — design docs / decision records (engineering), handbook
  and runbook Q&A (HR, support).

## Three surfaces

1. **Browser** — ask questions, get cited answers, threaded conversations.
2. **Word add-in** — audit a document against rules, fill a template,
   summarize / translate / draft at the cursor.
3. **Excel add-in** — bulk-answer a whole column; fills answer, sources and
   optional confidence; resumable runs; per-row context column. This is the
   killer feature for 200-question questionnaires.

## How it works

1. Sign in with Microsoft (Entra ID, OIDC + PKCE).
2. Upload your documents into a project (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CSV,
   text, Markdown, images with OCR).
3. Ask in the browser, or install the Word/Excel add-ins (2 minutes via Office
   for the web) and run skills on the document or spreadsheet you have open.
4. Every answer is grounded and cited; spreadsheet runs return a confidence
   score so reviewers fix only the weak rows.

## Security & data handling

- Documents, embeddings and conversation history hosted in the EU (Germany),
  isolated per tenant at the database row level. Cross-tenant access returns
  HTTP 404 — another customer's data isn't even discoverable.
- Never used to train AI models — by Olyteck or by LLM sub-processors.
- Published DPA (counter-signable), version-dated sub-processor list, GDPR
  rights incl. 30-day deletion. Per-integration spending caps, IP/CORS locks
  on API keys, full audit trail.

Mistral, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google — chosen per agent. Free runs Mistral Small;
Team unlocks Standard + Premium tiers; Enterprise adds the Frontier tier.
